The thing is...

Spending time mopping around doing nothing does suck at times. Although have a shipload of ideas but none of 'em can be fulfilled. After the PMR, the school's been putting up a heap of activities for the Form 3 students as they were worried that we will get too bored and starts to skip school. However, the effect was quite ironic. More and more students choose to skip school, sit back comfortably in their chairs with their air-conditioners opened in the room, sitting in front of their computers and doing nothing but staring blanky at it.

As for me, I'm the kid who's always present at school. I have to go to school during schooling days cause my day would be like losing a screw or something if I don't. It would be so goddamn boring for not going to school and hang out with my friends. I prefer sitting in the classroom playing chess, and perhaps Scrabble, with 'em, even though it's kinda hot and humid at times. It's pretty cool and fun to dish out your tactics and knowledge in those mind games. Sharpening your thinking skill along with knowing your friends better and interacting with them.

The thing is, the school shouldn't planning too much activities for the students. It would feel like being in a camp which has a over tight discipline and to less freedom. Having little competitions like Scrabbling and workshops for future roads are okay but cutting alphabets from the newspaper to answer questions? I don't think anyone would like that. It's so wasteful and non-environmental friendly. For example, the Maths quiz that was organised yesterday.
